Colour

colour can be used to portray many different things

In psychology colours are meant to portray different meanings or places for example in Disney land there is a 'go away green' colour placed on all the items or places that the staff doesn't want people to see or be hidden in the rest of the landscape. in hospitals, they use colours with calming effects such as pale blue and green.

colour can symbolise different things such as life and death in western culture is symbolised with black as this is the colour that you wear to funerals

in flags, the colours symbolise different meanings Swedish flag sun and sea.

in past times colours were used to show wealth where royals would wear purple and greens in paintings as purple was only able to be made with certain expensive materials. and in paintings, it was a hard colour to make as most of the time the colour was too teal so this is who artists showed the most wealthy people

in my own projects, i have looked into colour theory as when making my chair the element that we attached had to be white as the theme was spirituality
