Rituals questions to complete

What kind of ritual does your component explore?

My ritual explores the ritual of weddings, especially in the Hindu culture. There are many traditional aspects that are being performed in the 3-hour ceremony. with rice being showered on the couple by varying people and powders.

How do species of spaces relate to it?

Species of spaces doesn't completely relate to my component as the book relates to certain places in the to a certain space where my ritual can be outside or inside depending on the environment that the couple wants there wedding to be placed inside or outside.

Has a history and theory task helped you develop your design? which one?

History and Theory tasks helped me in certain ways by looking at the shape and the forms of different components at different times throughout history. it has also made me think of functionality and resell deeply think how people interact with the component. including its journey from the start to the end and how easily it can be repaired so that it can be as sustainable as possible.

Which definition in the lecture relates to your component use one of the examples from the presentation help describe your component and illustrate the text with photo

The word I have chosen from the lecture is the word is the customisation which by definition means the action of modifying something to suit an individual or task. In my case the different compartments which will hold items and objects that are virtual to complete the ceremony. Personalisation is vital as it means that the user can change the individual models around to make it multi-functional as there isn't a standard Hindu wedding meaning that the couple and family can pick and choose the rituals and traditions they want to create there own unique day.
